My Story

When I was in my 20s, my first out of the country job assignment in Bangkok Thailand. My upbringing did not quite prepare me for what I saw – women and kids are prostituting themselves just to get food on the table. I was distraught and decided one of my life mission is to help 100 women achieve financial freedom through entrepreneurship and mentorship.

Our Why

According to SCORE, entrepreneurs who have mentors significantly increase their chances of business success regardless of gender.

However, women entrepreneurs have difficulty developing mentorships.  Few role models and a lack of mentors that contribute to the perception that entrepreneurship is a male-only endeavor;

Nearly 50% of the women entrepreneurs surveyed in a 2014 Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation report that a lack of available mentors is a top challenge facing their business.

What is Women Entrepreneur Mentoring?

Women Entrepreneur mentoring is a community crowdsourcing platform non-profit organization with a curated local community of experienced and successful business owners with a minimum of $1 million revenue that have generously offer their precious time out of their busy schedules to help our vision.

A majority of the mentors bootstrapped and grew their business from nothing.

To qualify as our mentor, they must be the owner, founder or majority stakeholder of a business and have earned a minimum of US$1 million in revenue in their existing business or a business they have exited.
